Chris Kaman Notes: MAC Player of the Year, Honorable Mention All-American, MAC Tournament MVP The Skinny: Kaman appeared ready to become one of the top players in the Mid-American Conference as a junior, and exceeded those expectations as he was arguably the nation’s top big man. The book on him is that he’s very mobile for his size and he’s very efficient when he gets the ball (shot over 62% from the field as a junior). He has the tools to be a good rebounder and shot-blocker as well. The caveat to it all is that he did it all against mid-major competition, though he did score 25 points and haul down 10 rebounds against Duke in the NCAA Tournament.
