Staying in school did wonders for Bogans, especially during his excellent senior year. This athletic wing improved his game immensely, polishing his offense with a much better jump shot and being a more complete scorer than when he entered college. He used to settle for three-point jumpers too much, but now he takes those shots in flow and shoots better. He always had the stroke, it was the shot selection that was questionable more than anything. He’s very strong and a good defender, and rebounds well for a wing.
He was a real leader as a senior, and really let the game come to him. But even with his emergence, Bogans projects as a second round pick in all probability. His game is that of a small forward, but he’s small for the position and he’s not quick enough to play shooting guard.
