Price is a very quick scoring point guard who shoots the ball very well from long range and loves clutch situations. He was a prime reason the Sooners made their Final Four run during his junior season, as he always comes to play at both ends of the floor. He’s a team leader and very charismatic.
That said, at 6’1″ he projects as a point guard in the NBA, and while he probably has the quicks to play there, his distributing abilities are a big unknown. He played shooting guard most of his college career, especially with good friend Quannas White running the team the last two seasons.
A team might take a chance on Price in the second round. He certainly has the physical tools and intangibles to hang around in the NBA for some time, but he needs to prove he can run a team.
