The Skinny:
Quick and very athletic combo guard is a scoring guard with the skills to play the point in a pinch. He has a good stroke to long range on his jump shot and can score off the dribble and penetrate to the basket. He’s a capable ball-handler and passer who has improved at both, moves well without the ball and can score on jumpers coming off picks. He’s bouncy and can get to the foul line, and he makes a good percentage of his free throws. His defense has not improved much from when he was a freshman, when it looked like he would be one of the better defenders, but the tools to be a great defender are still there. The down side is his size; at 6’3″ he is smaller than most shooting guards, and whether he can be a full-time point guard is a question mark.
