Excellent athlete is more of a slasher than a shooter, capable of highlight-film dunks with his great leaping ability. He has good strength as well, enabling him to go up strong to finish his drives. His jump shot has continued to improve over his college career and is solid now, as he can make shots with a defender on him, which makes him much more dangerous.
