Ryan Gomes

Notes: Withdrew from the NBA Draft; will return to Providence for his senior season.

The Skinny:
Athletic post player is a warrior at both ends who plays most of the game. He’s not spectacular, but he has solid post skills that make him almost automatic when he gets the ball down low, generally using finesse instead of power moves. He will draw fouls and is good at the free throw line, and he’s a good, but not great, rebounder. He can make jumpers out to three-point range, with improving ball skills, and he generally makes good decisions with the ball. He doesn’t currently have a position at the next level, but his small forward game is really coming on. At this point, he needs to further develop his in-between game: he basically scores in the post and hits three-pointers.
