The Skinny:
At Portsmouth Burks’ Norfolk Naval Shipyard team won the tournament going without a loss. Burks scored 16 points and dropped 10 dimes in the win. Although increasing his stock at the tourney Burks will still need to impress in individual workouts when he is invited. Burks is ranked behind two prep stars, two juniors, and fellow seniors Jameer Nelson and Chris Duhon by most NBA scouts. His height he cannot fix, but if he can prove he can create for other players he could sneak into the second round.
