The Skinny:
Childress decided early that he was going to forgo his final season and enter the NBA Draft and for good reason. Childress stood out on a team that won its first 25 games of the season and was schooled well by an aspiring NBA coach. Scouts fawn over his length, scoring ability, and ball handling. Childress’ defense and toughness are in question along with a history of injury, but all can be overlooked because of his willingness to work and maturity.
