The Skinny:
He has something that cannot be taught, size. But scouts talk more about the other things he can do for a player of his stature. Araujo’s workouts with NBA teams have brought him praise for his shooting touch and lateral movement. These intangibles along with his surprising passing ability could propel him into the Lottery. At worst Araujo is a first round pick. Scouts know he can score on the horizontally challenged Mountain West, but will be expected to hit shots over similarly talented athletes every night. Foul trouble and defense are his biggest question marks along with the fact that he is still raw. Passing on his size and potential may be too much in the middle on the first round.
