The Skinny:
Cummings’ stock may have taken a hit when he was declared academically ineligible for the first half of last year’s UCLA season. But the son of former NBA great Terry Cummings put up respectable numbers when he returned to the Bruins for the remaining 24 games (12.8 ppg, 6.7 rpg). Such merits earned him 2003-04 UCLA MVP. Major question is, will Cummings be aggressive enough to go shoulder to shoulder with Ben Wallace and T-Mac every night? If not, will his transition to small forward be an easy one? Worked out with the L.A. Clippers on May 21.
