The Skinny: Even with all the players that withdrew, Biedrins was one of the international players that most felt was ready to contribute immediately in the league. He’s a tremendous athlete for his size, has good strength, quickness, and leaping ability. Unlike other European seven-footers, he actually prefers to play inside, and does so with toughness and tenacity. Biedrins is still relatively inexperienced and his perimeter shot and game needs a little work. But he still figures to be a lottery selection on draft night, maybe even as high as number five overall. |
