Team: Indiana Southeast Position: Center Year: Senior Size: 6’10”, 260 Stats (per game): 20.3 points / 10.9 rebounds The Skinny: Another NAIA product, Garnett averaged 20.3 points and 10.9 rebounds per game last year. Garnett first got to Eastern Kentucky with high regards and many thinking they had a steal since high-majors wanted him out of high school. But he didn’t last long there and began to bounce around, playing little at West Virginia before two big years at Indiana Southeast. The book on him is that he’s constantly improving and has been to Pete Newell’s Big Man Camp twice, but he’s only had good results against weaker competition in college and that includes averaging a double-double this past season. He’s unproven, but with his size and the work at the camp, someone might take a chance on him late in the draft. |
