Team: CSKA Moscow Position: Guard/Forward Size: 6’8″, 220 Stats (per game): 7.7 points / 4.1 rebounds The Skinny: At 6-8, Monia has tremendous size for an NBA shooting guard. He’s got tremendous shooting skills and has been working on getting aggressive taking the ball to the basket. Physically, Monia is also ready for the league, and he has the stamina to play since the Russian League plays many more games than your typical European league. There are some questions with Monia’s contract – something that dropped the likes of Maciej Lampe down to the second round last year. But according to Monia’s agent, this will not be an issue, and if that’s the case, look for him to go in the late lottery/mid-first round range. |
