Tony Bobbitt

Stats (per game): 13.4 points / 3.4 rebounds / 1.9 assists

The Skinny:
A deadly shooter from outside, Bobbitt improved his shot selection during his two years at Cincinnati, where he established himself as one of the best scorers off the bench in the nation. He shot 45.5 percent from the field and 40.1 percent from long range as a senior, both up from 36 percent and 33.1 percent as a junior. While he’s cut down on launching ill advised shots, Bobbitt’s size does not fit the mold of an NBA shooting guard and there is some concern about his attitude. Bobbitt quit the team late in his junior season only to be reinstated a few days later and former Cincinnati head coach Bob Huggins benched Bobbitt as a senior. He was named MVP of the Portsmouth Invitational, averaging 17.3 points per game. Attitude problems and concerns about his size aside, Bobbitt’s scoring ability and highly regarded shutdown defense make him an attractive option in the second round.
