Team: CSKA Moscow Position: Forward Size: 6’9″, 210 Stats (per game): 6.5 points / 3.6 rebounds / 1.1 blocks The Skinny: It’s easy to forget him because he’s not an international early entry, but Khryapa is still a legitimate factor in this year’s draft. He’s got good size for a 3/4 combo forward and has good skills to be effective both inside and outside. There have been favorable comparisons between Khryapa and Jazz star Andre Kirilenko, but Khryapa is not as good an athlete, nor as much of a factor defensively. The buzz around him may not be as high as it is around his Russian teammate Sergei Monia, but Khryapa still appears to be a first round pick. |
