Williams Suspended from Eagles: Boston College sophomore Sean Williams was suspended from the university yesterday following his arrest for marijuana possession. Williams, who averaged 4.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shot and was expected to start next season, pleaded innocent and is scheduled to appear in a pretrial hearing on July 8th. In a statement, the university stated that Williams was suspended for both the summer and fall semesters. He’s the second Eagle to get into trouble this week, as Akida McLain was arrested in Pittsburgh for allegedly passing counterfeit $20 bills. [5/21/05]
