Catamounts Name Two: Vermont has announced the hiring of two new assistants, John Sanow and Hajj Turner, to Mike Lonergan’s coaching staff. Sanow has 17 years of coachiing experience, including eleven seasons at St. Francis (PA), and stints at D-II Gannon (Erie, PA) and the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Turner worked with Lonergan last season at Maryland as men’s basketball coordinator, and also has interned at the NCAA in Indianapolis. As a player, Turner played under both Denny Crum and Rick Pitino at Louisville, graduating in 2002. [5/23/05]
