Herrion Named Head Coach: New Hampshire has announced the hiring of Bill Herrion as head coach of the Wildcats basketball program. Herrion, who was recently fired as head coach at East Carolina, returns to the America East where he had much success as the head coach of then league member Drexel, leading the Dragons to a 167-71 record from 1991-1999. Herrion left his new position as associate head coach at Arkansas after only two month to take this position. Herrion also has experience as an assistant at Boston University and George Washington in the late 80’s. [5/26/05]
