Anteaters Promote Chen: UC Irvine head coach Pat Douglass has announced the promotion of Steve Chen to assistant coach. Chen was video coordinator and administrative assistant for the Anteaters the past three seasons, and he replaces Todd Lee on the staff. Lee departed to accept the head coaching position at Kentucky Wesleyan (Owensboro, Kentucky). Chen was previously an assistant coach at Foothill High School from 1996-2001, while he earned a degree in Computer Science from Cal State-Fullerton. [5/27/05]
