Villanova Elevates Two: Villanova head coach Jay Wright announced the promotion of two of his coaching staff members. Assistant coach Brett Gunning has been promoted to associate head coach, and Patrick Chambers, formerly coordinator of basketball operations, has been promoted to full assistant coach. Gunning has coached with Wright for eleven seasons, including seven at Hofstra, and was a student assistant at both Villanova and UNLV. Chambers has served as an assistant at Philadelphia University and at Philadelphia’s Episcopal Academy, and replaces Fred Hill, who left Villanova in April. [5/27/05]
