GW Gets Its Pops Back: After completing the team’s most successful season in several years, George Washington appeared to be in a crisis when juniors Mike Hall and Pops Mensah-Bonsu declared for the NBA Draft. But Hall returned to the Colonials last week. Now, Mensah-Bonsu has also opted to help George Washington repeat as Atlantic 10 champions. Mensah-Bonsu averaged 12.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season while leading the team in blocked shots. George Washington returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in six years.
