Kansas State Hopes Assistant Brings Act to Manhattan: Kansas State coach Jim Woolridge hired Ben Kelso as an assistant coach, bringing one of the nation’s best high school coaches to Manhattan, Kan. Kelso has been a high school coach in Michigan for more than 20 years and has compiled more than 400 victories at that level.
