Dee Brown Cast-Free: Illinois senior guard Dee Brown had his cast removed from his broken right foot yesterday, and he is expected to make a full recovery. Brown broke the fifth metatarsal during the NBA’s Chicago Pre-Draft Camp, and since he had not retained an agent, was allowed to exit the draft and return to the Illini. Brown, one of two returning starters to the national runner-up Illini, will move to point guard this season, as last year’s point, Deron Williams, was selected No. 3 overall in the NBA Draft.
