Wildcats Vague About Recruit’s Status: Classes have started at Kansas State, and one conspicuous absentee is 7-1 center Sidiki Sidibe, a recruit from France. Coach Jim Wooldridge maintains that Sidibe will arrive on campus and play for the Wildcats this season, despite rumors that he has signed with a professional team in France. But school records indicate that Sidibe is not enrolled at Kansas State. Students have until Sept. 2 to register for classes, so there’s still time. But the AWOL center will have some explaining to do even if he does show up before the cut-off.
