Madness In Lexington: Kentucky has sold-out Rupp arena for the school’s Big Blue Madness on October 14th. 23,000 tickets were distributed, and 20,000 were claimed in 35 minutes over this past weekend. The NCAA moved the start of practice from 12:01 a.m. back to 9:00 p.m. to be more fan-friendly. Previously, Memorial Coliseum hosted Midnight Madness events for the Wildcats since 1982. Kentucky is shooting to break the record of 21,700 attendees, set by North Carolina in 2003 for Roy Williams’ first practice. [10/4/05]
