Montgomery Earns Scholarship: New Loyola-Marymount head coach Rodney Tention has announced that redshirt junior John Montgomery has earned a full-ride scholarship for the coming 2005-06 basketball season. Montgomery, a former walk-on, has served as a reserve point guard the past two seasons. Montgomery has played in 29 games in his career as a Lion, including 21 games as a freshman two seasons ago. He had a career-high 8 points and 12 minutes against Northern Colorado last season. [10/3/05]
