Jimmy V Classic Set: The field for the 11th-annual Jimmy V Classic has been set. The two-game event, scheduled for December 6th at New York’s Madison Square Garden, will feature Kansas vs. St. Joseph’s and Michigan State facing Boston College. The event, to air nationally on ESPN, is named in honor of Jim Valvano, the late North Carolina State coach, and will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research. [10/4/05]
