Pepperdine: Pepperdine All-American Warlick Passes



Pepperdine All-American Passes: Former Pepperdine great Bobby Warlick passed away last month at age 64. Warlick, who was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1980, lettered for two seasons from 1961-63, and was a member of the 1962-63 Wave squad that went 20-7 and won the West Coast Athletic Conference title. Warlick was named an All-American that season, averaging 16.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per contest. Warlick played in the NBA for six seasons, playing for the Detroit Pistons, San Francisco Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Prior to coming to Pepperdine, Warlick was named the Junior College Player of the Year after leading Pueblo (Colo.) Junior College to a national championship. [10/2/05]
