Heel Has Bad Knee: North Carolina freshman Mike Copeland will miss the start of the season following arthroscopic surgery on his right knee this weekend. Copeland, a 6-7 forward from Winston-Salem, injured the knee during a scrimmage Friday night, and it was determined that he suffered torn cartilage. Copeland is expected to miss up to five weeks.
