Injury Slows Commodore: Vanderbilt senior forward Julian Terrell will sit out the Commodores’ first exhibition game this weekend because of a stress fracture in his foot. The team discovered the injury after Terrell had an MRI to figure out the source of pain in his foot. The injury could become significant because stress fractures are slow to heal, and Terrell is a major part of the Commodores’ lineup. He averaged 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game last season. Coach Kevin Stallings said Terrell had significantly improved his offensive game during the off-season.
