Keady Can’t Keep Away: Former Purdue coach Gene Keady, who retired after last season, is back in the game after agreeing to work with the Toronto Raptors. Keady finished his career with a 512-270 record in 25 seasons as Purdue’s coach. He will serve as a consultant or bench coach with the Raptors, who are one of the worst teams in the NBA at 3-17. Fortunately, all the losses that the Raptors will pile up won’t besmirch Keady’s outstanding career numbers. [12/09/05]
