Miners Forgive Williams UTEP senior swingman Jason Williams punched teammate Stefon Jackson last week and broke the frehman’s jaw. After a week-long suspension, coach Doc Sadler reinstated Williams after talking with Jackson and considering Williams’ clean history. Jackson did not want Williams to be suspended for the punch during a competitive practice. Williams is the Miners’ leading scorer, averaging 15.4 points per game. He’ll be ready to play this Saturday against New Mexico State. [12/14/05]
