Morris Not Done After All: Kentucky didn’t need sophomore center Randolph Morris to manhandle No. 4 Louisville 73-61 today. But the Wildcats probably need Morris in the lineup to make a significant run in the NCAA Tournament. And Kentucky received good news this week when the NCAA shortened Morris’ suspension from the entire season to 14 games. The suspension is a result of Morris’ flirtation with the NBA last year, in which he entered the draft and no teams picked him. He attempted to return to school, but he apparently didn’t pay all of his own expenses during the draft process. He also had a dubious relationship with SFX, a sports agency. The NCAA altered its decision this week after learning that Morris had faxed Kentucky to say that he did not intend to hire an agent. Morris will be eligible to return Jan. 10 against Vanderbilt in the Wildcats’ SEC opener. [12/17/05]
