Cardinal No Longer Rules: Stanford entered the season with a lot of expectations. So their miserable start with losses to Montana, Cal – Irvine and Cal – Davis has been well-documented. And the Cardinal can’t catch a break. Seniors Matt Haryasz and Chris Hernandez may miss time with injuries. Haryasz is out for the Stanford’s pair of games against the Oregon teams this week. He might be out longer thanks to a sprained ankle. Meanwhile, Hernandez, the Cardinal’s most reliable player, has been limited by a shoulder injury, which probably caused him to shoot 2-of-9 from the field in a loss against UCLA last week.
