Boilermakers Now Minus Minnoy: Purdue freshman forward Nate Minnoy will be out for the remainder of the season because of a torn MCL. Doctors sought to determine the extent of the damage last week, and he will soon know whether he needs surgery. But Minnoy won’t be back on the court this season for the Boilermakers, who will miss his 11 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Off to a rough start at 6-7, Purdue figures to be one of the few Big Ten teams that won’t compete for an NCAA Tournament spot this year. [1/08/06]
