Stewart Returns to Practice: USC junior guard Lodrick Stewart returned to practice yesterday after coach Tim Floyd kicked him out of Tuesday’s practice for elbowing a teammate. Floyd wants Stewart to play under control and channel that energy toward opponents, not toward teammates. Stewart apologized to the team before practice yesterday and spoke with Floyd to settle the issue. Stewart averages 13 points and 4.4 rebounds per game for the Trojans. [1/12/06]
