Explorers Bring Home Friar: Providence sophomore forward DeSean White has announced that he is transferring to La Salle, which is in his hometown of Philadelphia. White missed most of this season because he broke a foot in workouts in September. He averages 6.7 points per game for the Friars. He played in every game for Providence last season as a freshman. He should be eligible in the second semester next season for the Explorers. [1/17/06]
