Wainwright Suspends Young Demon Star: DePaul coach Jerry Wainwright suspended freshman forward Wilson Chandler for violating a team rule. He did not announce the length of the suspension, but added that it will not be indefinite. He indicated that he’s handing out some tough love to a kid who has a bright future at DePaul. In 15 games this season, Chandler averages 9.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He is an excellent cornerstone around which Wainwright can build the program into a contender in the new Big East.
