Finn Finishes Rough Breakup: Xavier senior point guard Dedrick Finn survived a hard fall to the court during last night’s overtime win against Cincinnati. He has also survived possible legal trouble after his ex-girlfriend accused him of stealing her dog. Finn was charged with stealing a pug when the two broke up, and he could have spent 180 days in jail and paid a $1,000 fine if found guilty. Instead, the case went to a mediator, and the ex-girlfriend decided not to pursue the matter further. At the time of the incident, Finn said he gave the dog to his ex-girlfriend and they shared the responsibility of caring for the dog, so he had a claim to it. [1/20/06]
