Utah: Struggling Utes Sit Leading Scorer

Struggling Utes Sit Leading Scorer: Utah coach Ray Giacoletti suspended senior forward Bryant Markson, who leads the team in scoring at 14.1 points per game. Giacoletti did not explain the details of the suspension, saying that he decided to sit Markson for today’s game against UNLV because of disciplinary reasons. The Utes have lost four consecutive games to slip to 8-8 and the bottom of the Mountain West standings. [1/21/06]
