Personnel Issues Remain for Blue Demons: Depaul’s lineup shuffle continued in Saturday night’s 76-75 loss at Providence, as three regular starters did not start the game. Junior Sammy Mejia, who scored a career-high 30 points in the defeat, along with sophomore Draelon Burns and freshman Jabari Currie, all came off the bench for what head coach Jerry Wainwright said was being late for academic commitments. Additionally, injured forward Wesley Green did not travel with the team for the same reason. Meanwhile, suspended forward Wilson Chandler is practicing again and traveled with the team but did not dress. Wainwright said he has not decided when Chandler will play again, adding, “he’s got several things he’s got to do before he gets playing time.” [1/22/06]
