Downs Leaves Kansas to Take Care of Business: Kansas freshman forward Micah Downs is done with the Jayhawks. Downs has left the team and plans to leave the school to return to Washington to take care of personal issues. Downs was a McDonald’s All-American in high school and part of a highly regarded recruiting class at Kansas. Downs started the season well, but he has played only limited minutes lately. He averages 4.3 points per game. [1/24/06]
