Police Clip Redhawk’s Wings: Southeast Missouri State junior forward Andrais Thornton has been arrested on charges of rape and sexual assault. The team also suspended Thornton until the case moves forward in a positive direction for him, meaning dropped charges or an acquittal. He is accused of raping a woman in a dorm at Colby Community College, Kan., with another man, who was arrested in Texas recently and plead guilty to lesser charges. Thornton averages 7.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game for the Redhawks in his first season as a JuCo transfer. [2/02/06]
