Bad Karma for ‘Cats Fan: Following Villanova’s thrilling win against No. 1 Connecticut last night, hundreds of students poured onto the Wachovia Center’s court. Junior Jon Branca almost didn’t make it. In the students’ push to get to the court, Branca fell and was quickly underneath a pile. He said he couldn’t breathe for about 10 seconds before security guards helped pull him off the floor. Branca wore a T-shirt that read “Our guards go to class, your guards go to court,” referencing the legal troubles of the Huskies’ Marcus Williams and A.J. Price. [2/14/06]
