Ohio: Bobcat Puts Family First

Bobcat Puts Family First: Ohio sophomore point guard Jeremy Fears has decided to sit out the rest of the season after the death of a family member. Fears missed the last two Bobcat games and has decided to spend more time with his family in Illinois. Fears averages 9.6 points and 4.2 assists per game for the Bobcats, who were expected to be one of the Mid-American Conference’s strongest teams. Ohio has struggled at times this season en route to a 14-7 record and no chance of an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. [2/15/06]
