Big 12 Chastises Wooldridge: Kansas State coach Jim Wooldridge must pay $5,000 after he publicly criticized the coaches for not calling a foul in the final seconds of the Wildcats’ one-point loss to Oklahoma. Wooldridge violated conference rules by saying in the media that the officials missed a game-changing call. The Wildcats’ Dramane Diarra missed a putback at the buzzer, and Wooldridge said the Sooners fouled Diarra, causing the ball to come out of his hand and preventing him from scoring. Kansas State lost 65-64, the second one-point loss to a ranked team in the week. [3/02/06]
