Pac-10 Conference Tournament: No. 1 UCLA picked up its second blowout win of the Pac-10 Conference Tournament with a 71-59 victory against No. 4 Arizona. Freshman Darren Collison led the Bruins with 15 points, his best performance of the season. The Bruins move on to face No. 3 California in the championship game Saturday.
No. 3 California won a double overtime thriller against No. 7 Oregon 91-87 to advance to the championship game. Sophomore forward Leon Power scored at will, finishing with 41 points. But he had to leave the game with a stinger in the second overtime period. Teammate Ayinde Ubaka helped carry the load, scoring 12 points in the two overtime periods to fend off the upset-minded Ducks. [3/10/06]
