Pac-10 Conference Championship: No. 1 UCLA settled any question whether the Bruins are the best team in the Pac-10 Conference this season. The Bruins won the conference championship against No. 3 California 71-52, their third consecutive game in which a UCLA opponent failed to score more than 60 points. The Bruins’ defense shut down three Pac-10 foes in three days. Sophomore guard Jordan Farmar led UCLA with 19 points, one of four Bruins to reach double figures. [3/11/06]
