Southwestern Athletic Conference Championship: No. 1 Southern took care of business against No. 7 Arkansas – Pine Bluff, winning 57-44 to win the Southwestern Athletic Conference championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament. The Jaguars reach the tournament for the first time since 1993. Senior forward Peter Cipriano led the Jaguars with 21 points. In Southern’s last NCAA Tournament appearance, the Jaguars shocked Georgia Tech in the first round. [3/11/06]
