Boyle to Lead Bears Into New Era: Wichita State assistant coach Tad Boyle has left the comforts of the Missouri Valley Conference to take Northern Colorado’s head coaching position. Boyle replaces Craig Rasmuson, who led the Bears to a 63-129 record in seven seasons, including the last three as a provisional Division I member. Next season, Northern Colorado will compete in the Big Sky Conference but will not be eligible for the post-season. After that, Boyle will be responsible for leading this team to the top of the conference and into the post-season. [4/26/06]
